30 Seconds of Seattle by moog55 on Flickr.Via Flickr:View LARGE Version for Greater Detail
This shot is a result of the first shoot that I did after I bought my D90. It was an unusual day for Seattle given that it was the middle of January and it was perfectly clear and not raining. Given how the sun was setting that time of year, the reflections off the side of the buildings were even more pronounced than they are at other times. The other advantage to shooting this in January is that you’re afforded a mostly clear shot since most of the trees in the foreground were without leaves.

S Bend - Carlo Sand Blow. by [ Kane ] on Flickr.Carlo Sand Blow, QLD, Australia.
Matt and I took a trip up north back in Jan. Here is another shot from the morning. I needed some colour on my stream!
The Carlo Sand Blow was a must visit location. We spent a few hours here the previous say, scouting locations for shots, shooting the sunset, etc… such a fun place.
Was funny to see our footprints in the sand as we left.
Enjoy.
- Canon 50D.
- ISO 100, f22(for the burst), 1/4, 24mm
- Canon 24-70 f/2.8 L lens.

When we packed up we decided a time lapse would be a good idea. Here it is, in it’s very crazy glory: www.youtube.com/watch?v=B-qFKvMLum4
